Celluloid (the ancestor of cellulose) was first created in 1856. Today its most common use is for table tennis balls.
In August 2011, Sateri Holdings Limited was awarded "The Excellence of Listed Enterprise Awards 2011" by Capital Weekly, a leading financial magazine in Hong Kong. Sateri was one of the 23 winning firms selected from over 1,300 listed companies in Hong Kong awarded for its excellent performance in corporate governance, investor relations, corporate strategy, social responsibility, as well as growth in earnings.
In July 2011, Sateri Holdings Limited won three international awards in the League of American Communications Professionals' ("LACP") Annual Report Competition, including the Gold Award (Industry/competition class), Top 20 Chinese Annual Report, and Top 50 Asia Pacific Region (ranked #39). LACP was established in 2001 to create a forum within the public relations industry that facilitates discussion of best-in-class practices within the profession while also recognizing those who demonstrate exemplary communications capabilities
Our Brazil and China operations have obtained ISO14001 (Environmental Management) Certifications, while both our manufacturing facilities are also ISO 9001 certified.
Our Jiangxi subsidiary has also obtained the Swiss-based Oeko-tex certification, attesting that our viscose staple fiber products are free from harmful substances and are in compliance with the human-ecological requirements under the relevant regulations of the European Union.
