Brazil’s favorable climate and soil conditions, coupled with the use of advanced, eco-friendly planting techniques provide Bahia Pulp with a sustainable supply of high quality wood.

It is currently undergoing an expansion which will bring its annual capacity to 365,000 tons of dissolving pulp. The expansion will enable Bahia Pulp to expand its product range across the full spectrum of specialty pulp up to 98-alpha grade. After the expansion, Bahia Pulp’s product applications will include rayon staple, lyocell, acetate, ether, nitrate, sausage casing, industrial & textile filament, MCC and sponges.
